Nauru & Manus Refugees Speak Out! The Case to Close the Camps

Betelhem – Nauru detention survivor and activist for ‘never again’
Kaaveh – live via Skype from Manus prison
Senator Nick McKim – Greens Immigration Spokesperson via video

Betelhem is the first refugee now in Australia, after spending years detained on Nauru, to speak publicly about her imprisonment and torture at the hands of the Australian government.

She will be joined by Kaaveh, an asylum seeker on Manus Island

Betelhem and Kaaveh will share some of their experiences in Australia’s offshore camps.
