Many refugee rights activist from around the country will be in Melbourne for the rally on Sat July 25 supporting efforts to change ALP policy and break the bipartsian consenus of cruelty towards refugees. Therefore the Melbourne Refugee Action Collecive is taking the opportunity to host a national conference of refugee rights supporters the day after on Sunday July 26, from 10am to 3pm at ANMF House, 540 Elizabeth St Melbourne (just north of the Vic Markets). We will discuss the way forward for the struggle for refugee rights. All refugee supporters are welcome. Registration is free and will start from 9.30am.
