100 days since Reza Berati was murdered in detention – PROTEST Wed May 28, 12.30pm Immigration Dept

PROTEST TO DEMAND
• Independent Investigation
• Close Manus Island, no offshore processing
• Sack Scott Morrison

12.30pm Wed 28th May
Immigration Dept – cnr Spring & Lonsdale Sts

Asylum seekers on Manus Island have directly accused G4S guards of the murder of Reza Berati and the violent attacks on themselves. They can identify their attackers. But as 100 days since the murder approaches, no-one has been charged with Reza Berati’s murder, or any of the attacks. One thing is certain, this is blood on Abbott and Morrison’s hands.

Offshore processing must be stopped.

  1. http://fleurcom.org/blog/asylum-seekers-news-and-information/

An asylum seeker is a person who has fled their own country and applied for protection as a refugee, and is unable or unwilling to return due to a well-founded fear of being persecuted. The majority of onshore asylum seekers actually arrive in Australia by air with a valid visa. Boat people is a term that usually refers to refugees, or asylum seekers who emigrate in boats that are sometimes old and crudely made. Who are in fact deemed legal arrivals despite what many say.

  2. Reza Beratis death will not be in vain . We will make sure his legacy lives on LONG LIVE REZA
