Not Malaysia! Not Nauru!
No Offshore Processing!
End Mandatory Detention!
Following the High Court decision striking down the Malaysian “solution” and the attempt by the Labor government to ignore that, writing human rights out of the Migration Act, it is important to maintain the pressure and demand an end to offshore processing, whether it be Malaysia, Nauru or anywhere else.
Asylum seekers have a basic human right to seek asylum in Australia and we have the responsibility to look after these people, not offload our obligations to other worse off countries.
We also demand that refugees that are processed onshore are processed in the community and that the inhumane policy of mandatory detention is ended.
