In between these events listed at left, particularly 2001-2005, RAC members were never idle. If they were not running city street stalls, handing out leaflets and urging passers-by to become involved in the campaign, they were shaking buckets at concerts given by Michael Franti or John Butler. RAC(Vic) extends its eternal gratitude to these artists for urging their audiences to make very generous donations to our campaign.

Meanwhile, the refugees themselves kept up their own protests - by sleeping on the roof of their compounds, or whatever else they could manage within the limits of their very restricted situations.
